Is stx file a proprietary format? Is there another way to open and/or convert stx file to a wav file?

The only way is to use the Juicer and save out as WAV files from there.   This is how the product is designed to be used.

Hi Dave -

The older versions of STX would come with 128 kbps MP3 files which were great for listening at my desk to find the one I wanted - The newer ones don't.  It was a great time saver.  Any chance of bringing that back?

Dave, some time ago there were discussions about providing the appropriate info regarding the STX format, so folks could develop plugins for NLE/DAW applications - or maybe you prefer to develop those inhouse. It would be quite handy to import a STX file directly into the favourite application and select the layers you want. Any news on that one?

Now that would be cool....a specification document for the STX format so that coders could write there own apps / extensions / plug-ins around the format.

That gets my vote Mike!
