djdj -> Juicer Won't Start -- Can't Find QuickTime!!! (1/19/2012 6:15:14 PM)
|
I'm trying to launch Juicer 3 and it gives me the following error on startup: Juicer has detected an error with QuickTime. Either your current QuickTime installation has errors or you may not have QuickTime installed. Please download and install the standalone version (7.6 or higher) of QuickTime (the version that does not include iTunes) I have uninstalled and reinstalled both QuickTime and Juicer, and nothing I can do makes this error go away, and therefore Juicer will not start. I'm running on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, with QuickTime installed on C: and the Juicer on D: (C: is an SSD. My Juicer catalog is larger than the entire capacity of the SSD, that's why I installed it to D:). It used to work fine, until a recent update. But now Juicer, and therefore the thousands upon thousands of dollars I've invested in DJ products, is useless to me. Any ideas? QuickTime runs fine, iTunes runs fine, and Premiere Pro is even able to play and render QuickTime video without any problem at all. It only seems to be Juicer that is having any kind of issue.
