When I put an element from Digital Juice into my Avid (XpressPro w/Mojo ver 4.3.1) timelime and then try to move that elemnt around it grabs the entire base image and moves it as well? Can I not reposition the element? Do I have to do that in the Juicer and hope that on the fifith, sixth or hundreth try it sits were I want it? Can I not move the element around the screen?

In the juicer scale the image down to a resolution that will fit within the 720x480 dv resolution. Then you can scale the image, and reposition inside the frame.

Sounds like an AVId problem too me. I' ve done this with Vegas, premeire and FCP and it all worked fine for me.

Thanks for responding but I solved my problem soon after I posted and just fprgot to update.

I ended up placing a matte key on my baseimage and then inserting the DJ element inside that effect. Worked great.
