I use a Mac with FCP. I've been using Editor's Toolkit with Juicer 2 for a while with ease. I just bought Jump Backs vol. 7 & 8 from a guy online who's getting out of the biz. The material is legit (not copies) but apparently the CD's predate the DVD's now shipped by Digital Juice. I hate to sound ignorant but what do I do with these discs? How do I make usable video files out of the series of stills contained in each of the file folders? Help! Jason B |

Jason, I'm not sure what you got but according to DJ, support is not available unless you buy direct or from a reseller. Also, having 'a series of stills' format, requires a NLE that will take a 'still sequence', but that might not be very user friendly anymore. I would contact Customer Support to at least double check if it is indeed legit and then go from there. (in reply to motion319) |

Jason, The older cd-rom formats that had image sequences on them can be used in FCP. You will have to jump through a hoop to do it, but it works nicely. Using your QuickTime Pro, import the sequence by selecting 'import image sequence' from the File Menu, and browsing to the files on the CD. Select the 1'st image in the sequence, QT Pro will grab them all. Once imported, you can export to any type of QT movie you like. _____________________________ Michael Mullings Technical Specialist Digital Juice mmullings@digitaljuice.com (in reply to motion319) |
