Hi,

I just started using Editor’s Toolkit 2 Multipurpose tools and I just ordered Editor’s Toolkit 8 Sports Tools.

Can you tell me what resource I might find on your site that would help get me up and running in using these Editor Toolkits? My editor is Sony Vegas.

I tried installing and previewing the disks in Juicer 3 but it keeps telling me “No valid preview disk inserted”. I have the disk in my DVD-ROM burner but it just doesn’t find it.

HELP PLEASE!!  I really want to mess with my new tools!

Thanks for your help,

Mike Sullivan

Welcome Sully,
I think you'll find a great place to start is here in the forums. If you browse down the forums list you will see a topic that pertains to Vegas and editing with DJ products. I use Vegas as well and I can tell you that you will catch on fast and get a quick kick to your projects right away.. There are also small click on splash windows with a multitude of demos on Vegas as well as other apps. A lot to see here so have fun and we'll see you around the site. Start here [click below:]

Hey Brndmginc,

Thanks for the quick info.

Do you really need to use the Juicer? I tried messing with it and it kept telling me it had no disk to preview even though it did. What's the secret to getting the Juicer to see your disk?

Thanks!

make sure you have the first dvd in the series in your drive. Im not sure if there is a setting in the juicer if you have multiple drives to tell the juicer which drive to look for. check that out as well.

You don't have to use the juicer (but we recommend it), you can oull files right off of the disc.
Here's the link to training you can search by Vegas

Sully,

You should be able to stick the first disc in from Editor's Toolkits you've bought and go to FILE->Install Products

If you have the correct disc in your drive, and you are getting an error then we need to figure out what to do next...  You need to then see if can see any files at all on the disc outside of Juicer.   If you cannot then try putting the disc in another computer and seeing again if the files show up to the computer at all.  If they do show up on another computer it may be that your DVD-Burner is having trouble reading the discs.   If the disc files do not show up on another computer then you need to contact customer service for a replacement disc.

It is not necessary to install the previews if you have web connection the preview movies will stream from net.  When you drag the file over to batch list, set settings (pick video output codec and size you want final output to be), and render.. Juicer will ask for the correct disc to be put in to render the files.

Some products do not need Juicer but really for all intents and purposes it IS necessary to use Juicer..  A growing number of products require Juicer.. StackTraxx, Countdowns, etc..

Dave
