Running Cinewave w/Final Cut Pro, OS 10.3.9. Targa CineYUV16 is my codec, but when I try to render, Juicer opens the render window, then immediately rings "finished." The file does not render. It renders fine in Animation codec. What's the problem?

I don't know a lot about Cinewave, but I do know that one thing that can cause the error you are describing is if the Juicer is sending invalid parameters for the particular codec to QuickTime (which is what the Juicer uses to perform the actual render). One example would be if you tried to render video with a frame size of 720x486 and used a DV-NTSC codec which requires frames of 720x480. What are you trying to render? VideoTraxx? Jump Backs? Editor's Toolkit animation with an alpha channel? Eric (in reply to krisg) |

I'm using VideoTraxx. No Alpha. Is there anywhere to download codec presets?

Heres alink to a codec site where I have gotten some for video purposes. Just be careful, dont install them all just to have them. You can end up with issues and/or conflicts if you do. I believe you can just install what you want out of there. Check it out. Might help. Might not. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm _____________________________

I have the codec itself, but currently, I have to render to Animation, and import it into Final Cut Pro. I just can't play back Animation realtime, I have to render whenever I make a change. I was just wondering if someone had the render presets for my codec in a file, in case there is some tiny thing I'm doing wrong. My coworkers and I have just gotten VideoTraxx with Juicer, and apparently, I'm not the only one with this problem. (in reply to JasonGaines) |
