I'm Rending files off of MiniDV tape to Mpeg-2 for local access TV. What are some of the settings you guys are using for best quality? Med. speed Motion in video, does this change your settings? Actually, the MPEG-2 template "DVD NTSC" is perfect for anything under 90 minutes (files fit on a standard DVD; after 90 minutes you need to change bitrate settings). Click the custom button and change quality to Best, Video tab to two-pass render (near variable bit rate section), and go! --Jeffrey P. Thanks for the good info!  The TV station has not let me know what format/media they will accept, this will be a good start. Don't have the ability to put on tape other than re-record back to MiniDV, not sure if this would change any settings in Vegas or not?

Jeff, all you have to do is a "Print to Tape". It's in the Tools menu list. And no, this won't change anything in Vegas.
