Is it possible scale up and slow down fire and smoke elements to create a type of explosion effect? I have never used the product and I am considering purchase if I can do this. I am assuming that you can place the element on a video track, slow down, and add a resize effect?

The MDEs are large and can be used in a variety of ways.  You should be able to achieve what you are looking for, with some experimentation.

Check out this training course, it may help:

Thank you for the information. I have ordered the products and I am going to give it a try. One more question...if imported directly into an NLE from the MDE DVD...will the element appear with an alpha channel? Or do you have to use the Juicer program? I am going to use these in a classroom and the fewer steps the better!

Just did a quick test, and yes, the MDEs will have an alpha when importing directly from the disc.

Excellent. You guys have been really helpful. After I posted I realized that I could have done my own test by downloading one of the free downloads.
