I managed to output the animation at setting very slow, frame blend on, in Quicktime Animation format.

So my guess is that the software has trouble with the AVI format.

Hopes this helps.

Btw, what are the ideal setting for import to After effect and later export to an AVi file from there (it has to go in Premiere for export to DV and DVD) ?
