I am a new DJ fan. Well, I've been a fan of their stuff for YEARS, but now, I actually get to try and use some of their stuff on my own. However, I need to know if anyone has used any of the editors took kits (Pro) with Final Cut Express. If so, how hard is it to set up, what can I do and what can't I do, as opposed to the same ETKs with FCE and FCP, and where can I find some tutorials on how to use DJ's stuff in FCE? Thanks in advance for all of your help in this matter. I'm excited and interested in learning all I can about ETKP and FCE Phillip Swindall Gadsden, AL |

Hello Phillip, and welcome to the DJ Forums! Digital Juice products work great with FCE. Really the key differences are: 1. FCE works in DV and HDV codecs only vs. FCP can work in uncompressed lossless formats. 2. Lots of 3rd party hardware and software are only available to FCP. 3. FCP supports keyframing across most of the effects, where FCE is more limited to motion controls. As far as working with our products, you can find tons of information right here in our forums, like this thread. http://www.digitaljuice.com/community_forums/tm.asp?m=114301 _____________________________ Michael Mullings Technical Specialist Digital Juice mmullings@digitaljuice.com (in reply to BrotherPhil) |
