I came across this brilliant online promo video for a world class hotel/restaurant located on the Rhine River in Basel, Switzerland.
The "Three Kings" is the oldest hotel (still open) in Europe and still prestigious. Before you call to reserve that presidential suite shown in the video with the private Jacuzzi on the roof top terrace overlooking the Rhine River, be prepared to fork out $4,600/night!
I took one of my daughters for a very special "Daddy Date" to the restaurant. A once (on our budget!) in a lifetime experience for her to eat where Kings, Queens and Emperors have eaten in the past. :-)

This promo video reminded me of Chuck's "Field of View" DJTV episode on use of storytelling.
The hotel promo video sparked some ideas that I plan to use for an upcoming project.

Watch and Enjoy!

Trivia: I read that Vincent van Gogh's famous Starry Night painting was inspired after staying at the Three Kings hotel and looking out over the Rhine River at night.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but it looked good.  The only thing I saw was the text was too difficult to read over the book.

I watched and enjoyed the entire movie.  I actually found myself wanting to know the back story for each of the people.  I agree that the text was a little hard to read.  I have the same problem with some TV shows (like Heroes) that show subtitles for foreign languages but they use a color that blends with the background.  Although the movie was very well shot, I question how many people will spend a full 12 minutes to watch a promo video for a hotel.  Then again, that is exactly what I just did.
