I just shot some footage with a wide angle lens, and (for a reason unknown to me) the background looks slanted : (

I was wondering if anyone knows of a technique for correcting this. For example: does FCE have a 'straighten' feature like the one in iPhoto?

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks.

You would need to double click your clip in the timeline and go to the motion tab in the preview window. Here you will find rotation property. If you adjust this you can compensate for the "slanted" frame.

Thanks, Charlie. I'll try that.
