A few weeks ago, I saw a featured partner product that created slideshows that you can import info Final cut.   It allowed you to point it to a folder containing images and it would automagically create a themed slideshow.   I no longer see the product featured and didn't catch the name of the product.  I did some searches here and google, but have come up empty.

Can you please tell me the name of that you previously had featured?

Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew, I don't know what you saw, but here's a product that may be similar - ImageFlow 1.5 from coremelt.com

That's the one!  Have you used Imageflow?

Thanks David.

Yes, I did recently buy Imageflow. I really like it - it lets me do Motion/AfterEffects-like moves despite the fact that I haven't learned those yet. It really does let you create some advanced effects very quickly. It also lets you go in and tweak the settings quite a bit if you want to make changes. And for a hobbyist like me, the $99 price was well worth it. I wish the package let you place video files in the drop zones, but for now it's stills only. However, the company's web site says that feature will come in a future update.

Another package I just got that I also like is Drop Zones Vol. 1 from finalcutprotemplates.com
These templates aren't mini-slideshows like ImageFlow, but Drop Zones does let you build some great effects quickly which can be easily strung together in a slide show. It's the same price, DOES work with video in the drop zones, and actually functions in FCP as an extra package of Master Templates that is added to those already available.

Both of these make me look like I can actually use Motion :-)
