Cool spots. Now is it just me or did anyone else pick up on the fact that in the Aftermath example Sean is using a DJ Font?

While I would love to take credit for those, they were created by our own Sean Mullen - our in-house After Effects guru and visual effects supervisor. All I did was help get them posted... _____________________________ Michael Mullings Technical Specialist Digital Juice mmullings@digitaljuice.com (in reply to success) |

Good catch there Ace. An awesome font at that. One of my favorites. It was way too fitting to not use it. _____________________________ Michael Mullings Technical Specialist Digital Juice mmullings@digitaljuice.com (in reply to Ace) |

The DJ Fonts are a lot of fun to play with. They come out huge, so you get plenty of resolution to play with in After Effects. When these come out, I know everyone will love em. They go great with the CTK elements! By the way, the actual font was provided to me by Mike. He and I talked about a video game trailer and the font you see is the one he suggested and output for me. They work really well in AE.. _____________________________ What if there were no hypothetical questions? (in reply to Michael Mullings) |

Very cool to see DJ Fonts in action.. It's also possible to save each letter out as a separate PSD layer (right from Juicer) so that they can be brought into AE as a layered comp and animated letter by letter. (in reply to Sean Mullen) |

When are these COOL FONTS coming out? I can't wait. The videos you did are an inspiration. By the way, did you guys retire the Video Traxx library? If you did, I missed that one.

Those are cool. I can't wait to get the CTK library. They look like tons of fun.....and the fonts are exactly what I hoped for. I can't wait to get them too.

Is anyone else having an issue downloading or watching the new training tutorials? I downloaded them and they all stop at a certain point and lock up my quicktime player. It also acts the same way on the popout player on the site. Mike _____________________________ DJ Collection - Too much to list Signature to long - over 255 :) (in reply to Lthrboots) |

Mike, I downloaded and watched all of them on my Win XP machine with no problem. Is your QuickTime up to date? Are you using a PC or Mac? < Message edited by Michael Mullings -- 11/24/2008 4:58:08 PM > _____________________________ Michael Mullings Technical Specialist Digital Juice mmullings@digitaljuice.com (in reply to damadman) |

Thanks Paul and Jerry, I will come as often as I can, but right now I am taking Maya 3d training courses and it is taking up all my time. But, I can't wait to show you guys some of my works afterward. I was inspired by TK to do this. I love his work. I look forward to your commentaries and critiques. < Message edited by jmwvideo -- 11/24/2008 10:22:59 AM > _____________________________ Janice M. Wortham (in reply to Michael Mullings) |

Hey thanks Janice... can't wait to see what you do with Maya... that's some seriously powerful 3D you're getting into there... good luck with it, I'm sure it's very exciting! Reminds me of your "Juicer Wars" contest entry not so long ago... with Maya's great character tools, you may be able to model a true 3D Mike Mullings as Yoda (he did make such a cute little Yoda)... remember... "Do or do not... there is no try." The new CTK training videos are great too... I had no trouble downloading and watching all three on a Win XP machine. Cheers, TK. (in reply to jmwvideo) |

I love these training videos! I especially love them because I've just started using After Effects. The only thing that would help me more is if you could break down the steps a little further. Like tell us what shortcut keys you use as you are going. Like for scale or position etc. I also have trouble understanding how you created text in Illustrator on the "Inferno" tutorial so that you're able to continually rasterize in AE. Any body have any ideas on that?

Look up "Total Training for Adobe After Effects Pro Essentials", hosted by Steve Holmes, you will love him. This is how I started learning AE.
