Ok... I have the HD jumpbacks and they work fantastic.

The question is: Does it work better to just copy them off the DVD to my HDD OR should I render them in Juicer.

I want to keep them 1920x1080 and I'll crop them in the NLE.

But as far as the encoding... Should I gp with JPG (off the disk) or ANIMATION (like Juicer suggest).

Thanks...

I'll restate the question:

Is it better to just copy them off the DVD

or

should I render them in Juicer?

P.S. For my configuration obviously...

The real question is....

What codec do you have your NLE timeline setup for?

well I am going to be the opposite here
as there isn't an alpha channel needed with these there is no need to render them out to animation codec which will save you a render generation

as they are photoJPG 100% then they are bascically uncompressed 8bit 4:4:4 RGB (basically what Animation) execpt at a MUCH lower data rate

then just go with photoJPEG.

Like Dave said... no need to re-render generation after generation
