I love swipes and wish you would keep them as their own line. I see your combining everything in the ETK's now but Swipes and MD's are 2 product lines that would get more creative looks being their on line. Plus each ETK set seems to be only 2 swipes per catagory.

Swipes are really cool. I have them all and use them all the time. I would like to start creating my own custom swipes at some point.

In the past there were the original ETKs, now we have Swipes and ETK Pros so it is hard to tell which way things might go. The MDEs got their own Pro line for awhile so who knows? More Swipes, Pro Swipes, no Swipes?

I certainly think there is room for both, but I think the way we may see ones that aren't included in ETKs are via download, purchased individually and costing more per swipe, MDE, etc. I have often thought DJ should also sell Lower Thirds separately too.

Whats nice about how they are doing it now is things are becoming more stylized sets.
The swipes match the other animations in a certain set, this makes it kind of nice when your editing a project since a lot of the common files you may need are in one collection rather than spread out over several.

Yes, the new ETK's are really nice and everything marry's up nice but that is also my complaint. Your not going to find the unique stuff in 2 swipes per catagory. I also own all the swipes and MD's and love them. I use the for a lot of things including freeze framing them for print work. Background, Overlays, and lowerthirds are perfect for the kits. Make Swipes and MD's their own with 30+ a set...
