Just curious how close we are to seeing DJ stuff offered as Downloads, other than the plug-ins, etc.  I know lots of people are still looking for the old "retired" stuff, but selling them as individuals or small sets as downloads would be great.

I also know that DH has said that they had a Juice Drop line that they were looking at that would be download based.  Is that still going to happen?  Just curious.

The Juice Drops team has been so knee deep in Fonts that they have not had time to come up for air and work on Juice Drops.. 40 fonts have taken us all year.. Its challenging and a bit scary, hopefully people respond well to them.

Once fonts rolls out we will mix it up a bit more and have new jds (single downloads) coming out weekly.  But expect the price per piece to be more but at least they will be rolling out possibly daily.

We've actually come up with a method to do extreme low run packaging so it will likely be an option for some  (possibly all) download products but i'm not sure about Juice Drops (at least initially).

Eventually all old Juice Drops will be available as downloads and in fact except for what is included as part of ETK's and Themekits all new Juice Drops will be released only as individual downloads.

Fonts hopefully will be the first downloadable product and after that things should start moving.

But in all 2009 there is no more news that I have seen about this unless this one here below on 12 of March 2009 in this full thread here http://www.digitaljuice.com/community_forums/tm.asp?m=129210&mpage=1&key=downloads&#130378

DJ is working on it but there is no point until it is perfect because everyone will just jump all over it.   Juicer already supports downloads to a degree but we just never rolled it out because it wasn't perfect as far as I was concerned.  Putting up all our content for download is no trivial task.

I hope that DJ are still working on this and will be released as soon as they can have it ready and working.
