Thanks Claudio for the kind words. Also, FYI, there is the second of three offers now posted on the FACEBOOK page. Not sure if it's available anywhere else at this time, but the first and only place I saw it this morning was on FACEBOOK. So FANS got it first.

I think even with the shipping and taxes, at $50 whichever font package is chosen is still available "easily or cheaply" to everybody. I'm in Hawai'i and pay high shipping as well (though no taxes), and it would have been $94 or so for me to get it. That's still substantially cheaper than if I had to buy it without the offer.

I think DJ is being very generous with this. It's an offer that they don't have to make, and one that they are being nice enough to give to us just for being fans on Facebook. They didn't hold a gun to anybody's head to force them to sign up to be a fan. It's a little bonus for people that did choose to do so.

Dean I don't think that was the 2nd offer I think that was just an ad on Facebook.
My biggest issue is that I can't use it until the Snow Lep issue is taken care of
and the 3.60 update didn't do it.

This is my first post on the the DJ forums. I hate to be one of the complainers but I joined facebook just because Digital Juice asked people to follow them on facebook with the carrot of 3 offers. The first offer was on 9/12 and almost a month has passed since the first offer and they are now over 9500 fans. Is the offer just going to fade away? They put out email offers daily I wouldn't think it would be that hard to come up with something for facebook.

Just my 2 cents worth

Yes, Damon, I agree. I think DH wants to make sure the old-timers (like us!) get something in the celebration, too. That way, long-time customers don't whine when the deals are for stuff we all have. I was kinda wondering what happened with the 7,500 celebration myself, but it makes sense. Hey, I am all for getting Fonts 5 & 6 and/or Motion Designers Toolkits 3-6 all for half price!! And you know these products are in the chute. : )

Oh, and Tony... don't think you are complaining. No one complains in these forums, we just lay out our heartfelt thoughts in the spirit of honesty. And those who run the forum allow us to whine and cry all we want (okay, until somebody gets vicious, that is). Then we feel better about spending our hard-earned money on more products.

Dean, well said. But I think others take our heartfelt thoughts and twist them, so that now it looks as though the person is complaining... One good thing is that I have not seen a lot of ganginh up on other as of late, I hope thats the start of a good thing! I love reading everyones opition, gives you another out look.

I don't understand why all the complaining about the 2nd offer not showing up. It states right on the Fonts offer that it will be available until the FB reaches 10,000 fans. I interpret that as meaning the 2nd offer shows up after the 10,000 fans. Seems pretty simple to me.

I signed up on Facebook and am waiting for additional offers. But I have to admit that as a loyal Juice customer, having already paid full price for all the fonts right after they came out, I'm now less eager to buy any products right away. If I'd waited, I would have gotten half off the fonts. So to be honest, it now makes me less likely to buy DJ products until they are discounted, which is probably an unintended consequence of this offer. There have been too many times I've gotten burned by buying DJ products sooner only to see the prices fall dramatically later. Not to say Juice products aren't worth it at any price, but for the sake of having more money saved to buy more products, in future I plan to hold off on being a first purchaser until I see if any special offers show up. I regret this isn't great for DJ, since having customers buy fonts or swipes or whatever cool item sooner gives them more money to develop more cool DJ products. When I first learned of DJ years ago, most of the Juice Drops - which were then one of the main product lines - were out of my price range. I took the plunge when the price reached a more affordable level for me. I felt given it took years for the prices to come down, this was reasonable since early adopters had lots of time using them before they were popular and showing up on broadcast tv or someone else's videos or promo materials. But I've noticed the past year or so, the time from introduction of something new to the time the price comes way down is now much shorter. When I've jumped on a special deal, within months or sometimes weeks or even days, suddenly an even better offer appears. So from my own perspective, I'd rather wait a couple months and buy two for the price of one. I know there have been lots of threads about pricing and I'm not trying to fan controversy, just thought it was finally time to put in my own two cents. I can understand both sides of the argument for the most effective business model, and I am very happy with a wide variety of DJ products so have no complaints about quality. It's just this special Facebook offer has put me in a holding pattern in terms of buying any more Juice. For me, it's one too many times that buying something at the introductory price has backfired in the past year. Still, I keep checking for the next offer

Well, Rockfowl, you've got a right to be miffed...but it's also not DJ's fault. It's yours. No one says you have to get the latest and greatest right when it comes out. Do you do the same when a new operating system comes out? Or the next model of your computer? Just my $.02

That said, I'm happy waiting until 10k fans or whenever the next "offer" comes out. Gives me a chance to save some money.

Hi Ruth, I understand your frustration, having paid BIG bucks a few years ago for the Juice Drop collections, only to see them going now for as little as $4.95. Wow, and to think I paid something like $100 for each disc. BUT, I gotta admit that I was able to use the products and make much of the money back... plus it lifted me to a new production level, allowing me to get more and better clients. I guess we could wait to see if the price goes down later, but I've also found that in some cases, the price doesn't really go down all that much... if at all. And some folks even found that the stuff they were waiting on was retired.

I too paid the going rates for the Fonts, so any big sales make me cry too. The saving grace is that I have used many of the fonts and have gotten my money's worth. Hopefully you will too. Hang in there. I think I posted a similar note some time ago.

My thinking is: I buy it if I think I am going to use it, then don't look back. If it was a good deal then, it probably was. I am saving my money now for the next big offer(s). Come on... bring out the good stuff Dave!!!

Hmmmm - it seems to me that the original notice promised a special deal for those that sign up. That's "A" deal, as in singular. Then, they upped it to three deals. To those that signed up "just for the deal" - me included - well, the deal was posted. When the extra bonuses come, they'll come. Maybe for a Christmas Special. Just relax and take it as it comes. Life's too short to let this worry you.

I had to delete my facebook account and open a new one but now I can't find digital jucie....

I can find digital juice friends, but not digital juice... Anyone know what to do?

I know this is an old topic, but I've tried several times to add DJ on Facebook and it doesn't let me. I clicked on the "like" icon, but I receive no updates and the site doesn't appear in my list of groups. Could you have shut down the site "add" selection?

Just as an experiment, I added Dairy Queen. Thought I might be an idiot and didn't really know how to add or become a fan of a site. DQ added immediately. DJ is still off. What's up?
