Sorry for the lousy subject, just didn't know what the exact terms would be.  My company filmed a wedding planner speaking about local venues, and while some of the video was shot inside, two parts were filmed outside.  The guy on the camera didn't pay attention to the fact the the speaker was trying to talk to the camera (she had a sennheiser wireless on) and talking with excessive inflection and tone.  She was simply trying to talk over the ambient sounds (cars, traffic, wind, everything downtown) The audio is not clipped and levels were actually perfect.

So how do you make someone sound like they are not yelling, when they kind of are?  I have Vegas with included filters, and Sound Forge 8 which I know little about.

Thanks for any assistance.

I wish there was a magic filter, in this case I think you're stuck unless you can reshoot it.

Okay.  I will call the client.  She can come in and do a voiceover.  B-roll was great.

By the way Damon, we filmed wedding in Evansville a while back.  Trinity Church.  Also shot at the hotel with the hanging glass and curtains over the couch areas.  Fun place.

Obviously, from last week, so I may be a tad too late here...

Charles, if you haven't resolved this as yet, please do send me a sample of the audio and I may be able to re-master it for you.  It's not for nothing some people also refer to me as 'The Wizard of Aud's' (as in audio).

And (time and schedule allowing), if anyone else has audio problems, send me an email with a small sample attached and I'll see if I can work the Merchmagic
