Hey guys, I'm using the underconstruction swipes and I would love it if the swipes were individual animations that didn't move on and off the screen. Is there one already out there? Love the products. We got the chroma key and love it. Check it out http://www.missouricitytx.gov/About-Missouri-City/MCTV/Missouri-City-News |

I don't think so. You could try exporting a frame from when the swipe is completely on and jazz it up in after effects. Add some smoke, some sparks, a little movement, etc. You might be able to accomplish what you need.

You could render out the swipe as a targa sequence and then choose the best still from the sequence.

That's the problem. There are instances where the image isn't there. Also, I would like the image to be moving like it is in the swipe. I know DJ can do it!

I want active, lively construction tools that don't move from the center of the frame so I can keyframe it. That's my thought bubble for the day. (in reply to mctv16) |

Hello Robert, I don't know if this will work with the swipes you have in my mind. But bear with me a second... I tend to extend the "Canvas Size" of imported Juice Drops in PhotoShop by about 20cm H&W to see all the "wiggle room" in a Juice Drop (as some layers extend off the screen)...before deleting layers or playing with opacity..etc etc. Can you increase the canvas size in the Juicer...render out the frames... and then find the frame(s) that best suits your project... and bring it into whatever program you need, to "fine tune" ? I could be a million miles off here, tho! Hope you get it sorted. I understand now. Nice thought. You are asking for some underconstruction motion data elements.

Exactly Jim, I'm looking for "motion data elements" I just didn't know the correct term. Boyler65 - I'll try to expand (shrink?) the canvas. I assume that it didn't work that way. I tried messing with it friday and I couldn't get the image to stay on the screen. Because it is a swipe it comes from off frame then moves off frame. No worries! BTW, I figured out what a matte was. We have all of these swipes and I never knew what a double alpha channel swipe was. Heh, easy fix though. (in reply to windhamjim) |
