I am just doing something stupid. I have about 12 programs open. I have juicer 3.63 builder 183? I have turned a jd on its corner and i am in settings, element mode and I can't find how to add it to the batch list or save it to the file or maybe I just can't save what I can change to output to my file in my downloads. I have been able to save just single layers etc into the batch file and save it and upload to my ftp thingy. but i really like this what i did with this one and can't get it to save.
what more info do you need to answer this question.
no i am not using any other program, just juicer with my disk in the cd drive using my own product. using juicer to rotate the dang thing and want to put it in my batch list so I can save it.
i did change the, what resolution(?), to 72psi instead of the 300psi cause i want to use it to fool with a logo. I'm not sure if that is right. I could not get it to go any smaller but photobucket and picpicture can do lots of stuff. and it can rotate but I think this is tooo big and i've been trying to learn the dang juicer.

FIrst thing I'd do is upgrade the Juice to Build 200, which is the current version. That may not address your problem and I would need to defer to Tech Folks. I have Photoshop and usually just drag the file I want onto the hard drive, then open the file in Photoshop, bypassing the Juice altogether. I used to just find what I want to use on the DJ website, but -- since the JuiceDrops have been "retired" -- they are no longer there. It was so much easier for me to look at the indexes on the DJ site than to fire up the Juicer.

thanks so much for answering, i appreciate the response. If business is so bad why are there so many people missing who used to post all the time? I am so frustrated, I have resorted to using listing designer at 15 cents a pop in ebay listings. I feel like a failure, my templates look like crap. i can't get the drops to do what I want. I find it really easy to use the juicer after looking at the tutorials, but how to save, when there is no save button under the batch drop down menu, was not on any of them.
So I am back looking at other software, yuck.
I want the layers. Trying to find out what pixel size to save things in for ebay listings is like a big dark secret too. I had one request on their HTML forum for info and mentioned what sizes I did have and my whole question and two answers I got was deleted by ebay! WTHeck. I do learn a lot looking at the more sophiisticated tutorials on other programs I have learned to go watch everything here.
I love that like radio dial thingy that you drag and drop different elements into and they all run whereever you put them...very cool stuff. Learning the vocabulary, like keying and rotate down. simple stuff that just stops me in my tracks cause here keying does not mean ruining the paint job on your co workers car:). So anyway glad to see you are around.
I give up on the juicer again. I lose things when I download updates. I had an earlier version I had just downloaded that 183 when my buttons disappeared.
Actualy DJ needs to hire me to write Juicer for Dummies, I've got the dummy part down pat. I used to write Dummy type manuals for United Farm back in the early 90's and traveled around and trained new offices in their software programs. I loved coming up with cheat sheets for the secretaries and agents.
Well anyway I have GOT to finally settle down and decide, my adobe web software sold while i was dithering.
Even though it was not supposed to work I did have the juicer working for me and I was able to save the graphics the way I wanted them without big outside program. I was just stuck on the size thing. None of my dinky little apps could deal with the resizing of drops the way i saved them, and ebay was picky.

Michele,

I often feel the same way about many of my designs. I see the wonderful stuff that is posted here on DJ and resolve to be able to cook up something just as cool. When it comes to JuiceDrops, the Juicer really doesn't work very well for prepping a file. It's nice to switch layers off and on, but you really can do that in Photoshop much easier. I take it that you don't have Photoshop. If you are on eBay, check out what might be available on eBay in the line of an older Photoshop program. (Just be careful NOT to buy copied software and be sure you get a valid serial number.) I use Photoshop CS2 with great results. Warning: Photoshop is not the easiest program to learn. It is so powerful and can do so much, but it takes some time to figure out. When I learned the thing, I'd come home from work at 6 or 7 pm and start playing with it... and it was 4 am before I realized it... only having to dive into bed and get up a 6 am for work again. Uuuugh. But those were the days when I could actually do that. You might find a class at a community college or technical school to get a jump start. I think there was some DVD training offerings here at DJ a while back. Maybe Jacqui could do a series of tutes that show basic operations. You an also do a search on YouTube and find all kinds of stuff about Photoshop.

You might even be able to get a CS2 Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/Acrobat/and some other programs which might even include their web software) for a reasonable price since the Suite is now up to CS4. (Does anybody have an old CS2 Suite they can just send to BettyBakeBake?)

Please be gentle to yourself regarding your abilities. We all feel that way no matter what our level of expertise. In all honesty, THAT'S what makes us better... never being satisfied with our skill level. I am feeling that same way about the annual report I am doing for a client. I've done it for 20 years now and each year it has to get better and better... only lately the boss cooks up some wild ideas of what we need to do. I usually think about hanging myself just before I find a look that is actually decent.

As for eBay resolutions, I am sure the stuff is fairly low res. Can anybody offer specifics, as I really don't visit eBay as I used to.

Michele, hope this helps a bit. If the DJ community were all in the same location, we could do a weekly/monthly seminar on how to do various things.
