Hi, I have rendered out some elements from Motion Designers Toolkit 4 and have created a project in motion. The purpose of the project is to create an overlay for use in Final Cut Pro.

I have exported the project as a quicktime movie with a transparent background and also with an alpha channel.

When I import the movie into final cut pro and place the motion project over another movie clip, I cannot see the other movie. I have tried each of the 'Composite Mode' settings but none give me the desired effect,

I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong and how I can fix it.

Many thanks.
Paul
