I own a variety of Stacktrax from volume 3 to 47... Seems like for some reason I cannot get the Layered View to work on any of my files. I select the track in the Batch Panel, Click on the "Layered View" link below the play button and it requests "Please Insert StackTraxx V##: Name Disc 1 and try again" The DVD is in the drive and it refuses to show the layered view. This completely removes my ability to use the true feature of StackTraxx... to be able to remove individual elements easily -with a client in the room sometimes. How do I get this feature back? Yesterday. MV |

Are you using the latest version of the Juicer? If not update it. My stack traxx are working fine.

C'mon Damon... gimme a little bit of credit. Yes. Running the latest version of the Juicer. Also had a running email dialog with DJ Cust Service. Told me to reinstall previews... had already done that too, but gave it the old college try again. No bueno. Upon my response that this hadn't worked either I was told to do the following: "Please open the disc through Windows explorer / Apple finder and access the disc files and try to copy them on to your system. If you are unable to copy the files please let us know what error message you receive." Have yet to try this b/c I'm in the middle of a big project. If it works, I'm not too keen on having to sit down and manually install the 20 some Stacktraxx products on the shelf. Still searching for other answers... you know, besides "Try the latest Juicer". Can't give you credit as I don't know you. You wouldn't believe the people running 4-5 versions behind so it' a legit question to ask. Just like I always ask a person with a electronic issue if they've rebooted yet, if not that's always the first step. Again it works so it's not a feature that is gone, so you might have to copy a volume to your hard drive and test it like they said. You have to eliminate problems one at a time, and making that copy may just give you your answer.

I had transfered the catalog from another computer using the digital juice program. I just tried the re-install directly from the disc and it worked for me (Holiday Staxx only). I hope this solves the problem. (in reply to Evanol) |

The trick to get this to work every time is to create an ISO on your computer and "mount" that ISO whenever you want to see the layered tracks. I had the same problem (never used to so guess I always had the DVD in the drive). I created an ISO of the DVD, moved the ISO to an external HDD with the rest of my catalogue then mounted the required version of stacks and "wahlah" I now have the layered staxx :) Hope this helps others Update: ----------- V07 Groovy and V08 Fifties Staxx do not show layered staxx even when creating ISO's - weird. I will have to look through more threads to see if thsi is a Version staxx problem or if I have problems with my discs. < Message edited by alanMAC -- 1/28/2012 10:13:17 AM > _____________________________ Regards Alan (in reply to Evanol) |

I just installed the latest Juicer version 3.89a and I am having the same issues some of you are having. I actually reinstalled all my libraries on a freshly imaged W7 64bit computer. It seems that StackTraxx libraries 41 and up work fine, but earlier versions require the discs to be mounted to work with the layers. Any solution to this yet? Digital Juice, can you chime in?
