Running down the thoughts in my mind from chat the other night... I think DJ is due to release this Library in October.... (DH said that's when is next big release is due... Did everyone notice under the $249 price was a mix & match offer? Can I committ to all 10 now for $699? Dave Sawyer _____________________________ Alway's Remember; There is No Spoon... Call Early.... I've got to ask a foolish question. Are these all new MDE's ... ? Is some stuff pulled from other Jumpbacks? Other editor's toolkits? Won't deter me from purchasing... Just curious... _____________________________ Alway's Remember; There is No Spoon... Call Early.... Call Often (in reply to Dave Sawyer) |

Yes Sawyer, one of the nice things about this is we are bringing it out as a new Mix&Match series which will give us lots more options in our bundling and special offers. We don't bring out new Mix&Match series (like Jump Backs, StackTraxx, and Juice Drops) often.. We waited till we had ten to launch (in works since last November). We have many more volumes planned and in production. October seems likely but some of these volumes are pressed and sitting in our warehouse now. Heck Graham even has the first three volumes in his possesion but he isn't allowed to talk yet :-) (in reply to Dave Sawyer) |

OK... you've whetted our appetite... Any other JPEG examples to share? Which of these volumes do you think will be most useful? Which is the most striking? Which one is goona make us go wow! _____________________________ Alway's Remember; There is No Spoon... Call Early.... Call Often (in reply to David Hebel) |

As you can see from the packaging and logos each volume is unique. Even the way each volume will work in Juicer will be different and unique. If you need Flags no one in the world can tell you that flags isnt a must have. I like the concepts behind revealers, frames, motion plaques, and countdowns.. I like coming out with products like Countdowns where at first you say to yourself.. "i'll never need that" only to discover we've put some twist that makes it a must have. Dave S. perhaps one of the countdowns Dave H. mentioned will include some options that will allow you to go back to a time when you were a "younger" Juicer. If not, there is always Grecian Formula. Dave H. are you actually going to be so cruel as to make us wait until October or November for some of this "New" Juice???? (in reply to Dave Sawyer) |

LOL For MDE suggestions: (this could even fall into ETK territory again) What about elements such as car advertisement material and department store commercials? _____________________________

Very nice looking stuff. Question. How often do you use MDE's? I have ETK's 1, 2, 3, and 5 and I rarely, no, very rarely, no almost never use MDE's. I really like them and they are great but I have trouble fitting them in. If some of you guys have used MDE's in your stuff and can show me, I would like to see them in practice. And with the new sets coming out I think some MDE tutorials might be well suited. _____________________________ Fred Matthews Spot Prod. Well, I used some of them. They're quite handy for customizing lower thirds, overlays, ... I'd think many others have used them, too. So there should be some nice examples around. _____________________________ Michael Lt. Cmdr. Data: If the warp drive fails to activate, the results could be... unfortunate. I don't own Sorenson so I can't show you how I've used them but I can tell you that I have used them in my lower thirds and it adds so much to the project. I've also created a bug for my slow mo's that displays our logo and I put it over slow-mo's of runs etc.

once we release expect a lot of tutorials and Ideas on using to be online and in our magazine... We want customers to use this stuff otherwise they won't buy any more! It is one of our top most requested things, "More MDE's" (in reply to MrE) |

We have a graphics package in place already so I never mess with the lower thirds but we would like to change it pretty soon. Not certain if that warrants purchasing the whole collection or just one volume but I will certainly give it a look-see.

for customizing lowerthirds you'll want to look at Revealers and Line Items once released.. Revealers mainly used to bring the 3rd on. (in reply to Zacbray) |

I'm new here and saw this post, I was looking to suggest something but I think it might already be covered... I am a very basic and simple digital juice user but I am working on a project where we are in desperate need of rotating 3-d numbers. I am able to do a roation of regule flat numbers in ProShow Producer that I use, but it only rotate in a circle on 1 point and I am looking for it to rotate around. I was wondering if anyoneknew if this new coutdown series would offer this type of motion.
