Hi!

Can I mount Giottos Ball Head with mounting adapter on Orbit Dolly?
Thank you!

I believe that should be possible but I will check.

I consulted with one of our production team members and he seems to think you can purchase a 3/8"-16 threaded bolt from a hardware store long enough to go through the chassis and thread into the hole in the bottom of the Giottos Ball Head (approximately as long as the existing DJ Orbit Dolly tie-down threads). You will also need a washer to keep the head of the bolt on the underside from coming through the hole.

He does not recommend using the Slyder Dolly mounting adapter with the Orbit Dolly.

One of our guys tells me that 1" schedule 40 works the best. If you go to a plumbing supply house you can usually get 20' sections.

I checked my phone but could only find a shot of the special wheels that go with the track.

It's 25 to 50 feet of flexible rubber tracking and special wheels in a very portable case. I think it will be called the Orbit Dolly Flextrac

The Pneumatic wheels are the best investment you can make in an orbit dolly (in my opinion)... Really takes the number of places you can use it and multiplies it by 10.

Jeff, thank you very much for your answer!
I've already ordered Orbit Dolly without mounting adapter. And now I'm really happy to read your advise.
Thank you!

I'm not sure. I'm it will be competitive with similar products on market.
