I think it is unlikely that ALL of the Ready2Go products will be ported to Apple Motion. This text, then, should be removed from the Frequently Asked Question section of each R2G page:

Is this package also available for Apple Final Cut Pro and Motion?
Not yet. As with the other volumes in the ready2go library, Collection 5 will also be available for Apple Final Cut Pro and Motion in the near future.

No slam on DJ, but be honest about it. Motion takes more effort to replicate the templates and the installed base is not large enough to warrant the financial investment.

We Motion users will understand but be upfront about it.

I finally went and updated my After Effects so that I could use the good products that they offer.

But I too got the same answer many times.

Yeah, Brad. I bit the bullet and upgraded my Design Premium to the Master Collection CS 5.5. I read on Adobe's and other's websites that Adobe would NOT offer competitive pricing if I did not upgrade to CS 5.5. So I did. Then, after shelling out over a GRAND, Adobe announced that those who upgrade to 5.5 between March 26th and May 6th would get the comparable CS 6 product FREE. FINE, I bought mine on March 5th BEFORE they announced the free upgrade. Now I will need to shell out even MORE money. NIce, As much as I tried and begged no one at Adobe would budge to help me out. Sigh....screwed again!

Anyways, I STILL work in Motion and am working hard to learn it so I can effectively use it.

Adobe's customer service isn't as flexible as DJ's (or at least as flexible as they used to be)

Not that it's right but your example is why people go to plan "B".

That really stinks on a few days too early to get CS6. No way to know what's ahead and when to buy what.

LMAO....No sooner I make the post DJ brings out R2G volume 4...Hubba, Hubba!!! Now, only TEN MORE TO GO. Of course, I have already invested in the R2G for AfterEffects in quite a few volumes.

But, thanks all the same DJ, I appreciate it and, I am sure, the other Motion users.

Have you upgraded? I completely walked away because of X and went to Adobe. Wondered what your experiences are...

I was one of the ones that thought Apple had totally lost their mind! Final Cut X was TOO much like iMovie for my taste. Since I had invested into quite a bit of plug-ins for FCP 7 and FCStudio 3 I was not ready to jump ship too soon, but did hold back any action till I had read reviews and saw what respected industry leaders had to say. One of those was Larry Jordan-- www.larryjordan.biz --who is a highly respected film maker, editor and trainer. Larry admits that Apple botched the launch BIG TIME! Which I agree with, but he also said to calm down and WAIT to see what Apple would do to add features and improvements (which they have BIG TIME). Larry's point is this: the world will not end and we still have ALL of our FCP 7 and FCS 3 available to us so why panic.
For those of us who cut their teeth video editing on FCP, the change was radical, to say the least. FCP level-headed websites like www.fcp.co were a big help and re-assured me that the world had not ended. An excellent presentation by Evan Schetmann about the history of FCP and video editing and how there have been numerous changes was EXCELLENT and is worth watching-- http://fcp.co/final-cut-pro/news/512-evan-schectmann-talks-sense-about-fcpxs-history-features-and-future.
The most important thing I have done is download the free-trial (which Apple NEVER does) and actually play with it. Now, is it different? YES! Is it radical as to the approach? YES! Is it a time-saver, MOST DEFINATELY! Now a year on multiple third-parties have offered FANTASTIC plug-ins, Apple has added features which were part of the severe criticism in the beginning and I find my work-flow is faster and more intuitive. The other plus is the seamless way FCP X and Motion 5 work together to painlessly create titles, transitions and motion graphics
Have I bought CS 5.5 Master Collection. Yes, but mainly to upgrade my Design Premium Apps and get AfterEffects. So now my arsenal is complete.
Will I switch to Premier Pro? Probably not since I invested the learning in FCP X. Will I get a handle on AfterEffects--ABSOLUTELY....but I will still consider Motion a valuable tool.
Sorry about the rambling about FCP X, but the important thing I learned was to keep a cool head, be loyal and try it for myself. Ultimately, I kept my loyalty (at least in this area) with FCP.

WELL....Adobe finally sent the CS 6 upgrade email to me....and it is not a pretty picture. To upgrade my Master Collection CS 5.5 will be $525.00. If had waited and NOT bought CS 5.5 Master Collection I would have only had to pay about $100 to upgrade from CS3 Design Premium. Nice.
