I saw you guys doing another Special offer cross over promo with digital anarchy and their beauty box product. DJ, Please consider dropping them from your product pushing because it is nothing but garbage. I bought the item last year based on your recommendation like I've done many times and that purchase was something I regretted ever since. First off it did not work right on my computer, the video rendered was unwatchable due to some weird green flicker that occured throughout! ( I use premiere pro cs5) I called them up, I explained my problem to them, they couldnt get it to work right for me so i demanded a refund and they refused! I was very upset. I even contacted my credit card company and got a refund, days later, the jerks at digital anarchy somehow managed to get that decision overturned. What sort of business practice are they running over there? Freakin rip off artists. If you want a product like this that actually works, please get Cosmo by the company red giant instead. This one works beautifully and I think it's cheaper too. I don't want anyone else to get burned like I did and I hope I sway at least a couple people from buying that beauty box garbage because they treated me horribly |

Hi Chris, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. Neither myself or our tech support person recall you calling in, so I'm not sure why we would have denied the refund. Generally, our refund policy is pretty liberal, if you want a refund within 30 days after purchasing, we'll give you one. The chargeback you initiated was six months after you purchased it, so if you waited that long to ask for a refund that's possibly why it was denied. However, the issues you describe with Premiere were known issues with Beauty Box 1.2 and some video cards (They're fixed in version 2.0 which we recently released), so we should have issued the refund regardless. Again, since it happened last year I don't know the specifics of what happened or why. If you want to send an email to sales@digitalanarchy.com with your address we will send you a check for the refund. We pride ourselves on good customer service, but clearly we failed in this case, so I'm sorry about that. Regards, Jim Tierney President Digital Anarchy (in reply to y2b200) |
