Has anyone else had installation problems with the Color Rules plug-in? It installed easily with AE CS 5.5 (Mac). But installation stops when I try adding it to AE CS6.1. During installation at the screen to select the system drive, the system drive has a yellow exclamation warning, and the error message says "Color Rules can't be installed on this disk. Make sure your system meets the requirements." My Mac Pro is running with OS X Lion 10.7.4. I am trying to install Color Rules version 1.2_build 100. I'm stumped. Kuhnen |

Update. Just tried installing Color Rules Build 210 for CS5.5. This also did not install, and had the same error message as I first posted. Is there an updated version of this plug-n for CS6 ? Kuhnen. (in reply to Kuhnen Brown) |

I'm told the Color rules installer looks for the following entry "CFBundleDisplayName" in "/Applications/Adobe After Effects CS5.5/Adobe After EffectsCS5.5.app/Contents/Info.plist". If After Effects is installed in a location other than the Applications folder or if the installer fails to find Info.plist in the default location then the installer does not proceed with the installation. It's not compatible with CS6. You can get the plugin to show and apply to a layer by copying the plugin folder in CS5.5 to the CS6 location. It will load but whatever color it starts out with it all it will do. You cannot make changes in the plugin. (in reply to Jeff Earley) |

Thank you Dink_Wink. I will effort to duplicate the issue. It is possible Digital Juice will need to update the Color Rules plug-in for AE CS6. As I understand it, the 64-bit nature of AE 6 sets it far ahead of AE 5.5. Kuhnen (in reply to Dink_Wink) |

Some plugins are ok in CS6 and some don't work. Always adds to the fun of upgrading.
