First of all Disc 1 won't install (Creative Class & Clean Slate) I had to manually place them in the correct folders. Creative Class works fine.

Problem: Empty Room, Clean Slate and Intersecting Angles drop zones do not work correctly! The beginning and ending segments work.

In Final Cut Pro X: Using as Generators
Empty Room: Seg 1-4 work correctly, drop zones are there and function. Segs 5&6 the published parameters show up but with "copy" appearing after the zone, and you can't add video to the drop zones. In any of the formats, same old thing. Does not work in motion either, does really funky things inside the box, under the box...does not work!

Clean Slate: Only Seg1 works only in HD25 & HD24 meaning the published parameters show up and you can add video to the drop zones. Seg2-4 no published parameters AND on some of the formats the background shrinks. It is suppose to be all white, well it shrinks to a smaller white box.

Intersecting Angles: Only Seg 1 works in HD24 that's it! Seg 2-4 nothing in any format. The subtext seg 1 freezes up as well.

So now what? Any ideas of fixing these issues?
Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

I have R2G for Motion vol. 5 also but have not had a chance to inspect it.

All of the generators for FCP X are actually Motion projects. You can open copies in Motion and fix the published parameters issue there and save out new generators.

This, however, does not look good for the Motion Team, but, hey, Motion is a bit more daunting than AE.

Just my two cents worth on your difficulties.

Good Luck with it.

Hi Videogog,
Thank you for responding!

I pulled the Empty Room in Motion 5. The drop zones do not work in Motion either. The zone on the face of the box puts the video inside of the box! There are two boxes in Seg6. I only have drop zones available for the smaller box in back. Also all zones are labeled, for example, "VZone01 copy" None of the other zones in the Ready2Go package say "copy" after the zone. I think this is somehow a problem. I don't know how to fix the parameters?

I purchased these to use at my Elementary School, I teach computers K-5. We have a tv studio, we painted an entire wall green and we have tons of fun with our tv crew. These would make excellent intros/in house commercials etc...but I am SO disappointed in the functionality of this product. I wish one of the admins would respond! I may have to call! I was so frustrated that I was ready to drive to Orlando. To purchase a product and not have full functional use is well useless! Unless it's me, than I am sorry for ranting!
