It is good to see that DJ is bringing more R2G volumes out for Apple's Motion. We Motion users have been excited to see them being added. That being said, the new deal is a welcome sight also. The problem is that MOST of us Motion users have already purchased Volumes 1 through 5. We have no other "freebie" to choose from as-far-as R2G for Motion is concerned. Maybe a DJ Gift Certificate of $50 toward the purchase of future volumes would be a good thing. How 'bout it? _____________________________ Alan Hartman Video Impressions www.videoimpressions.biz Proud Owner of the "DIGITAL JUICE WALL"! Stocked with a ton of Digital Juice Goodness! The number of people who have all the volumes is rather small, probably a handful. In fact I'm not even sure how much longer I can do the Vegas and Motion volumes because I'm not seeing the traction I'd like to see. That being said I prefer to handle thing via customer service on a case by case basis. So contact them, point them to this post and see if they can work out something for you. quote: Thanks for the reply Dave. That is exactly what I did and they offered me Volume 6 at a reduced price--which I won't divulge here. Not as "low" as I would have liked, but still reasonable. I had thought that no more Motion volumes would be coming after R2G 3 appeared and then a HUGE gap before the next one, so I started buying R2G for AE instead. LOL, then the R2G for Motion started showing up. I held off on R2G for AE 16 and 17 and I am not sure which direction to go now. As one who has decided to take the dive into FCP X, I find the new R2G volumes for Motion a double value since they can be used in both programs. Those who have not fully checked-out FCP X don't know that the Generators, Titles, Transition, etc. are actually Motion 5 projects. The rigging and publishing of paramaters have made FCP X one slick program to work with. The time savings can be significant. Of course, you will have die hards on both side of the aisle, but hey, that is life and to each his own. No matter what happens to R2G for Motion, we still thank you for the investment in our platform and programs. _____________________________ Alan Hartman Video Impressions www.videoimpressions.biz Proud Owner of the "DIGITAL JUICE WALL"!
