Where does the Juicer store its default settings file. Every time I go to install a new product it defaults to my dvd drive for my catalog location. How do I change the the default drive that the Juicer is looking at? I have uninstalled and reintalled the Juicer but, it still looks at the dvd drive. I am guessing that the Juicer is writing to the registery and not removing that key on uninstall.

Where would you expect the Juicer to look for products to install? If you are installing a downloaded product, just double click the downloaded file and follow the bouncing ball.

Sorry Jim, I don't think you understand. The Juicer looks for the catalog file on the dvd drive not the harddrive. Thumbnail Image Attachment (1)

Open the Juicer and click File->Catalog Manger. Look around in here and see if there is a setting you can change. Good Luck. _____________________________ Jim "It is fun doing the impossible" Quote from Walt Disney (in reply to Critterbug) |

Also, try this: From the Juicer menu, click Edit->Preferences. Look around in here too. _____________________________ Jim "It is fun doing the impossible" Quote from Walt Disney (in reply to Critterbug) |

Thanks for the replies Jim. I guess there isn't anything built into Juicer 3 to allow the changing of the default drive. I can still use the Juicer but, it's just a pain everytime I go to install something I have to jump through all the extra hoops. The attached picture shows the preferences screen and the default drive but, there is no where to change it that I can find. Maybe they can fix that in Juicer 4. Thumbnail Image Attachment (1)
