Even though I use a PC at home, soon I will be using a MAC at work equipped with Final Cut Pro 3. I want to use my Jumpbacks (CD vol 1-8). I presume that is legal. Since I am not that familiar with FCP, how do I bring in my JB files into the MAC? |

We suggest you upgrade your CD volumes to the DVD versions and then use Juicer on both Mac and Windows. However, if you need to use your CD versions then you will probably want to get Quicktime PRO to import the sequences and convert to QuickTime files. Tech can probably point you to some additional FAQ' s on the subject. (in reply to Andy Browne) |

Dave... Thanks for the rapid reply. Let me say, I just finished viewing the video on using Juicer 2, and to say that I was anything but " totally juiced" (pardon the pun) would be a lie. I saw in another posting on the board that the only thing precluding Juicer 2 from working with my CDs is the development of some indexes. I' m sure its more than that - but that' s the gist of it. Am I correct in assuming that once these index files are made, Juicer 2 can work with the CD Jumpbacks? I would love to have my library of some 40+ CDs (Volumes 1-8) on DVD - but I learned that such a swap is going to cost me another $200. To me that' s wrong. I am paying $200 just to use the same product I already own. It' s not even an upgrade! I paid the same thing for my product (when it was on CD) as your customers are paying today yet they have the benefit of using Juicer 2 and I can' t. Doesn' t that seem unfair to you? Now here is a marketing idea... the objective is to to migrate your CD user base over to DVD. How about offering an incentive? For every 8 volumes of CD' s you trade in, you receive the equivilent merchandise in DVD format plus one new volume. That gives us a chance to grow our library, migrate to a new medium and become even more loyal to Digital Juice than we were before. Ya see... I would love to try some other products like ToolKit but can' t justify the expense right now. Give me an incentive! Get me hooked! That' s just a thought... but would appreciate some additional consideration on this matter. Respectfully Andy (in reply to Andy Browne) |

Here is our free upgrade offer. Buy any 8 volumes of JumpBacks from 9-20 and will upgrade your volumes 1-8 for nothing. Buy an ETK and we will meet you somewhere in between. We are working on the Juicer files for the CDs now... hopefully we (Ian) will have them done next week. _____________________________ Kevin Brunner - Former VP Tech - Digital Juice (in reply to Andy Browne) |

We' ve had a free migration plan for Jump Backs customers since the day we released the DVD version.. If you buy more Jump Backs you get upgrade for free.. otherwise there is a reasonable charge $25 for the DVD version. Generally our sales people are more than willing to work with you on upgrading as long as you are expanding your Juice collection in some way. One thing to consider we had probably 5-6 different versions of the CD Jump Backs (PAL, NTSC, QT, Sequence, etc).. That means 120+ CDs to try to make work with the Juicer2.
