I use the DJ products straight up vs in the juicer......does that mean some of the stuff I will not be able to use like the animated overlays that show each movement in a different clip?

I am guessing that you saying that you do not use the Juicer to render the animations. That will work for some clips but not all as JumpBacks 9-16, ETK-2 and WETK are stored on disc at 60 FPS. When imported they will play, be run at 1/2 design speed. The Juicer takes these 60 FPS clips and renders to 30 with fields taking data from two frames to make one.

And the answer to your question? Yes, you can import the the alpha channeled animaitons diectly into your editor. In Premiere 6.5 and earlier you will need to set the transparency to alpha, while Pro applies the alpha automatically.
