JP,

When I am logged on the my account, not the forum login, the banners announcing the specials and countdown do not function.

Instaed of the banner all that appears is "undefined" and the countdown is all zeros.

I am using IE 6 SP2 on this computer.

Winston

It does it to me also, but only if using IE. Does not happen with FireFox.

Hmmm...well I'm running IE 6.0 sp2, on three different PC's without any problems.  I'm not minimizing the issue, just letting ya know.

Thanks for the report guys, there is some serious weirdness going on!  I am having the same problem in IE but not Firefox, plus everyone else's PC in office is working fine.

I think it is something to do with Windows update or flash player update.  We will continue to investigate this issue since it is also affecting the flash players across the site.

For those of you having the problem, please check to see if you can access the STacktraxx gallery player?

It looks like there is some strange issue with Flash detection in IE. I am not sure if it is a IE update issue or flash player issue, but we'll have it figured out soon enough.

It's because the banners are not functioning properly over a secure server.  When you are logged into your account, you access the site securely.  Somehow this is a problem with IE.  To rectify, simply remove the "s" from the beginning of the site address.  For example, https://www.digital.....  would be http://www.digital....

Actually those banners are set to not display at all in the shopping and account areas.  The problem we are experiencing is happening on http://  and has to do with flash detection.  I have even used Adobe's latest flash detection scripts and it did not help.

Has to be a flash update or IE/Windows update that has broken some functionality.

Actually, my reply was in response to Winston's issue.  He stated, "Instaed of the banner all that appears is "undefined" and the countdown is all zeros. "  As I said, this is due to the fact that once he logs into his account he accesses the entire web site securely.  If, after logging in, he returns to a page that normally contains flash countdown banners (such as the home page) he is still accessing the site securely as indicated by the "s" in the internet protocol (https://...).  Until this issue is resolved, to view the banners without errors, you may simply remove the "s" to break out of the secure accessing of the site.  Hope that helps.

Jeremy
