I am still using Liquid Edition. It still does everything I need.

quote: Glad to hear it. I was up to Avid Liquid 7.x just before Avid dumped it back to Pinnacle. Anyway, I have lots of reasons why I switched and I must say that I am totally glad I did. I've seen lots of my old Liquid friends on the Vegas forums. As I've heard so many times on the Vegas forums and have said and thought many times - Vegas Rocks!!! _____________________________ "Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Have been using FCP for all these years but will be getting a copy of Adobe CS4 Master Collection in the coming week so will make the big jump over to Premiere for the tight integration (smart objects, etc.) within the Adobe CS line. Transition shouldn't be too bad since I've already been doing some timeline editing within Photoshop Extended. I'm especially excited about diving into AE. :-) _____________________________ ~ Tim www.illustratedWORD.com (in reply to windhamjim) |

I learned editing in Premiere Pro 1.0, moved to 1.5, 2.0, and now CS3. My current job (local cable) uses FCP, and I'm REALLY trying to learn and like it, but for anything halfway complex, I stick with CS3. (Except for chromakeying, which I do in FCP - CS3 does crappy keying IMHO.)
