Hey MrH. - thanks for continuing to ask our opinions. How did the Mac/Pc poll turn out? Were you ever able to get an accurate count? I'd be interested to hear if you did. It seemed like there were more responses for last week that any other. Was that the case, or was it just inflated numbers? As long as this week's poll asked for "more" and not "exclusive" coverage - I picked the last choice - DJ Products. Especially stuff like Chuck's Pick 5 this week. Love seeing ways to use DJ in videos. Thanks ![]() ![]()

I voted advanced......Beginner editing techniques people can learn from reading the Adobe/Apple product manuals...more advanced techniques are harder to acquire...

The polls are set up now to only accept a maximum of 3 votes from the same IP address even if cookies are turned off. So the poll is in theory accurate... However, Mac people are probably slightly over represented in the poll because Mac people feel more compelled to vote in such polls on Mac vs Windows than do Windows people. But i don't think it's off by too much, it seems about right. (in reply to JasonGaines) |

Cool tnx Dave. Well, polls always have a plus/minus range anyways, so this would fall within normal variances.

Print and Juice Drop for me. I would love to learn Photoshop better and how to really lay those things out for flyers and even for use in video.

I went with Advanced, but I agree with Bill and Fred. Chuck gave me some wonderful ideas this morning on how to dress up a jumpback and I too am wanting to learn Photoshop (don't know much about it). I own about 12 volumes of JD and would like to get to where I am very creative with them. Matt sent me a past post link the other day that helped me with an "advanced editing" technique that was easy to learn, but I just did not realize I had the power at my finger tips and Eric gave me a tip in "advanced" that has saved me a ton of time. As Jose may say, my $0.02. _____________________________ Larry W. Reeves 4 His Glory Video, Inc. (in reply to Zacbray) |
