I noticed yesterday my chroma key wasn't working then today I noticed all my video effects werent working. My vst file folder is empty if thats where they are kept. The last thing I loaded was Velvet matter Light ray trial.Then Vasst double take. If I reinstall Sony 7 will I lose my current projects?

Nope, your projects will still be fine. Do a search for *.veg files - those are your projects. Make sure they are safe - heck, go ahead and make a copy of them someplace else if you want to be certain. Then reinstall Vegas and you should be good to go.

I suspect something else is going on however: I've never seen effects stop working. It might be a setting you've changed? Can you still add new effects and see their dialog boxes? If you can, something else is happening.

Yes there are Dialog boxes but the effects settings do nothing.
Like color correct you can change the inputs and the colors dont change.
Ditto for all the others. But I went into Movie studio and they worked?Weird eh?
