I' m new to the community and recently purchased Jumpbacks and the ETK2. I edit on the Media 100i and would like to here from any other Media 100i editors that may have any tips and tricks to share in regards to the DJ products use with the 100i. I really love the look these products bring to our craft. Take care all. James.

Hey there, I' m new to the forum also.

I have used JB' s but only as backgrounds with animated text using Boris. I have the entire volume of JumpBacks and am now sorting thru what I prefer.

I am currently working on a project that will use the " Weather and Elements" graphics. I shot some raw footage of rain falling on the sidewalk and using one of the JB graphics. I simply changed the opacity of the JB to ~60% so that I could see the sidewalk footage through it. It adds a bit more of a personal touch to the JB graphic.

I do mainly training videos for my company. I have the luxury of getting to be as creative as possible, so that the training videos are not as dry as usually seen.

Another techinque that I desire to use is the faux wide screen look that was described in the July issue of DJ. If you' re not a subscriber you should subscribe, it' s free. It' s mostly just an AD magazine but they do run at least one interesting article per issue. I used a faux wide screen look before but it was just a plain black letterbox look.

I also hope to use the JB' s as lower thirds or sidebars.

Let me know how you fare with JB' s.

Thanks Daniel for the input. I' m suprised at the number of hits I received but only your reply. Again my request is for ANY media 100 i users that are working with The DJ family of products to share their knowledge and experiences with ETK1&2 Jumpbacks and the stack trax and the Video trax products. Have a fantastic day, from Mostly Sunny Florida.

I' m also a media100i user. I recently purchased ETK1, Weather Jumpbacks, and Jumpbacks for the Wedding Collection.

I' m having a bit of problem myself, so maybe you can help.

I' m working on a new format into for a morning show I landed in our area. I found some lowr thirds and animated sets to match which I wanted to use. However, even though I rendered them in the juicer for lower fields, fps of 29.97, quicktime, animation codec and such, when I bring them into the graphic line as instructed, I don' t get any transparency over the video clip playing underneath.... so.... in other words.... it blocks the underlying video completely out. Now, media 100 tech support say it should work. Any idea what I have done wrong in the juicer when I batch process? Perhaps I have selected some setting wrong?

I' d appreciate some input myself, so I could gt this finished by weekend!
