Hi I have had problems importing overlays from the WETK. I did read somewhere that there is a bug in the Juicers Exporting of AVIs uncompressed that requires the alpha channel to be removed in the interpolate box. The Problems is the avi is then still black (and wouldn' t I need the alpha info as this is a overlay?). My second problem is that I am unable to save as TGA files (or any graphic file). I have Quicktime installed, should I be able to do this? (Windows XP platform). I am able to export the converted quicktime file in After Effects as an AVI (Millions+Alpha) and bring this into Premiere no problem but I really would like to use the convenience of the Juicer. Regards Mike |

There is no bug in the Juicer render a Full Framed (Uncompressed) AVI file. This is the only type of AVI that will hold the alpha channel. Overlays, FullScreenWipes and Lowerthirds require the alpha channel. Backgrounds, Templates and TransitionalWipes do have an alpha channel. For TGA files: Be sure you have a full or complete install of QuickTime. Then in the render settings select Image Sequence, then TGA with Millions of Colors + or 32 bit depth. _____________________________ Kevin Brunner - Former VP Tech - Digital Juice (in reply to Michael Fox) |

Thank you Kevin for your reply. You were correct with regards to not having a full version of Quicktime installed. Once downloaded and installed I was able to export TGA files and haven' t stopped playing since! Thanks again.
