I'm using Avid DV Express/Mojo....... I'm trying to use an alpha channeled flying golfball effect from Digital Juice's Editor's Toolkit2. The golfball looks great when it flies in the juicer rendering window, but when I apply it to the video clip and render.... it looks jittery. Is this a field problem? Anyone have a clue? |

I use Avid Xpress Pro without the Avid Mojo, but I've had the same problem using Juicer 2. I could never find a setting that would work with quick motion and an alpha channel. It always got blurry or jagged edges. You can try one of the 2 things I figured out: You can either pull the file directly off the DVD into Avid if you want to have it as is with no changes (That's what I like about Avid over Premiere - Source files are not required once they've been imported.) OR you can use Juicer 3 (either beta or wait until Wednesday for the release). I've had no problems with Juicer 3's betas, so the full release version should work great for you with Avid.
