Hi, I'm a new user from Croatia (Europe). Yesterday I play a little bit with my new ETK3 Wedding pack on a Liquid chrome HD platform, and have full success with animated backs, lower 3rd and animated matte! I use exclusevly image TGA rendering method. The fastest way to show how I did that is to view the screenshoot of my timeline, and pay attention to the settings of track matte editor. I left everything as is, accept selecting "linear luma keyer", and deactivating check box of "invert key". Good luck, Joseph Thumbnail Image Attachment (1)

Joseph, Welcome to the DJ forum Are you saying you have a problem or are you passing on your recommendations? I use Liquid 7.1 and by yor screenshot it looks more like a recommendation (tip) - Thanks! Unfortunately your thread was not that clear from the previous reply (I guess Doctor Tom does not have Liquid). < Message edited by alanMAC -- 3/14/2007 4:01:39 AM > _____________________________ Regards Alan (in reply to Doctor Tom) |

I do, in fact, use AL7 I've read Josip's post a number of times, but I just can't figure out what his point is about Tack Matte. I don't know what I'm missing here. (in reply to alanMAC) |

I think Joseph is just pointing out one method of using the track matte track that works in AL

Dear Josip, I just wanted to thank you for this post. I recently purchased some editor toolkit pro libraries and I couldn't get it to work with Liquid 7.2. Your example showing Track Matte CPU editor was exactly what I needed to see. Vikky (in reply to Josip Ruzic) |

I am a little lost here too. I never had to use the matte track filter along with the matte track( green colored track for those who don't know). I just add the matte track, put the juice on it and add the vid or photo on top no problem.

Hi DEW, It may be video card dependent. I've had cases where the track matte filter was not required and other times when I needed it(in the matte track). I've played with the clip properties by turning the "Use Alpha" proeprty on and off. Since I know what to nudge to get things like I want, I've never bothered to get to the bottom of it. Regards. _____________________________ Jim "It is fun doing the impossible" Quote from Walt Disney (in reply to dew) |
