I'm confused because there is so much reading on here. Currently, I have Juicer 3 Audio, PTK Juicer, Juicer 2 I have build 251. Do I just install it and let it go to the default directoryr OR is the installation of Juicer 3 Audio confusing the issue? OR, am I supposed to install it somewhere else, other than the default directory? I did get as far as installing it, and it seemed to open and it did import the music, but it would not import anything else. When I pointed to the directories, it said they were invalid. Should that be happening? So then I manually installed the previews (takes a while) but when I added stuff to the batch list, and went to render or change parameters, it wouldn't let me - something to the effect of I didn't have them loaded or something. Yet the light was on next to that grouping. I need to get somethng else done and it was getting late, so I just uninstalled it all. And, if I install it successfully again, can I keep Juicer 3 Audio and Juicer 2 for now? Will they co-habitate nicely?? (in reply to Zacbray) |

Althea, I did what you did and dumped all Juicer versions from my system and then started fresh with J3 build 250. I have had very few problems with J3 except the ones dealing with my old ETK discs. You should not need J2 or J3 Audio once you have the new J3 build 258 installed. The PTK Juicer is still required for that toolkit. I let it install in its default location and have not had an issue with that either. _____________________________ Fred Matthews Spot Prod. Note: If you have a previous Juicer 2 or Juicer 3 installation, please install THIS build of the Juicer 3 to a new location, then use the new Migrate Catalog feature on the File menu to bring all of your old catalog files into the new Juicer. Above are the instructions. So, are you saying that I don't have to redirect the installation anywhere. BTW, I just watched the tutorial video ( ) and I think I know where I goofed, I didn't take the 2nd step and install the previews. But, I still don't get the instruction above. But you are saying that you didn't direct in anywhere - so maybe my only error was not installing the previews (it seems it is a two step procedure). Oh, wait, sounds like you dumped everythng and didn't migrate at all. What if I do that, and nothing works. ![]() Lions and tigers and bears, oh my![]() ![]()

This was the process I went with only because I am not smart enough to do it their way. Plus I had been having some issues with the beta versions and so I just cleaned house and started from scratch. Took a little longer since I had to reinstall all my products but as far as I can tell it was worth it since my problems have been kept to a minimum.

Also Juicer 2 and Juicer 3 use different preview files... J3 files look better... $0.02 (in reply to Zacbray) |

my problem with ETK1 installing is fixed. I reinstalled Juicer3 b258 on top of itself and ETK1v2 installed without a hitch.
