Why do I see the download of the PC J3 file with Build251 in its name? The MAC version has 258 in its download name. Curious???? < Message edited by windhamjim -- 4/4/2007 6:42:26 PM > _____________________________ Jim "It is fun doing the impossible" Quote from Walt Disney (in reply to jhlent) |

I did the J3 update trick first and only found JB product updates. I went to download the new PC Build and found Build251, not Build258.

When you did an uninstall did you remove all the Juicer 3 related folders? You would need to try doing that...then reinstall should work. _____________________________ Nitin (in reply to jhlent) |

Happiness reigns. I have downloaded and installed Build 258 without any problems. If I encounter any problems, I'll use the proper channels to report them. Thanks. _____________________________ Jim "It is fun doing the impossible" Quote from Walt Disney (in reply to nitinp) |

I installed build 258. The bad news..... SFX II previews won't play at all now. Uninstalled and reinstalled J3 again, no go. Uninstalled SFX II and reinstalled, still no go. They all show up fine, but the first time I click on one to preview, the play bar jumps the the 1/2 way mark and freezes. The good news....my MDE Frames work now and the spacebar problem in the settings panel if fixed! It's git'n better! _____________________________ Mike (in reply to mikey) |

Do I need to un-install the Juicer 251 before installing the build 258 or I can directly install build 258 without un-installing the build 251.

You can go ahead and install 258 over 251 as the new build is an upgrade...

mediatvguy: I am new to this posting...I am not sure how to put the screen shot up here. I have it...and thought I was on the right track, but when I try to upload the file there is an error (from the DJ side of things). Am I doing somethiong wrong? It was a jpg file that was 88 KB. Thanks for the help. Back to the luicer 3 problem - the other thing I notice is if I am on ALL PRODUCTS I don't see SFX library nor JB HD library. If I go to MY PRODUCTS I have a blank bar (where SFX would be) and a blank bar where JB HD would be. I tried using the catalog manager and they are in the library (for my products). WHen I do a re-install of SFX then the Juicer tells me I already have them installed. (in reply to mediatvguy) |

Laponism, in Windows to get a screen shot, ,make sure the image that you want to capture is open, press PRINT SCREEN (near Home and End), Ctrl C to copy, open Paint, the Ctrl V to paste. then save it.... (in reply to mikey) |

I cant seem to get SFX2 to preview either. Also I cant get ETK1 to install its rev2 from an upgrade it says it installs ok, but juicer3 doesnt show it and thier are no files on the harddrive. I may have a bad disc here since I tried to pull the juicer previews form the disc and drag them to my harddrive but it locked up. the last thing I came across so far as I am reinstalling my products is that ETK7 wedding Editors tool kit 2 when i open it up in juicer itdoesnt show thumbnails for the sets, but when I open the sets tey are fine and the previews are fine

sliefox, Glad things went without a hitch....I am sure things will come together for everyone else as well. I have no problems waiting on this software to get all the bugs out. Having juicer 3 I feel as If I have a whole new set of toys. Especially with SFX2 and audio for the MDE and full screen wipes. I am definitely more apt to use them . (in reply to sliefox) |

I just downloaded and ran the updated build for Juicer 3. Regrettably, the video render times are still too slow when compared with Juicer 2's typical rendering times. (in reply to nitinp) |

Installed 258. Juicer 3 is now very instable, crashing randomly... sometimes on startup. When it does work, SFX libraries do not appear. Running on a MacPro.

mediatvguy, Yes, that is more or less what it looks like in the MY PRODUCTS mode (except I have another blank button at the top (where Sound fx goes) and then the second one is where JB HD goes. DO you have the answer? Thanks for the help. Attachment (1)

No, no answer. Sorry Laponism. But I have informed the developers, they are aware and are working hard at fixing this bug. (in reply to mikey) |

I appreciate knowing that it is a bug (and not something I did wrong)...and I appreciate knowing that the developers are working on it. I guess I should know better than to immediately jump on a new update when I first see it. Especially when the other one was running fine. Now I can't access the sound fx. Thanks for the help though. Yes, I tried that. No luck. The library is there (or so it says when I reinstall it). But just doesn't show the button and no way to access it. Thanks though. (I figured out how to upload the image - you were right needed to use a different browser - but the image is pretty darn small. I need to save it larger I guess) (in reply to mediatvguy) |

mediatvguy: Thank you...much better. I wanted to post the ALL PRODUCTS Mode picture too - but you would have to fix it again. C'mon, share the secret with me....it is another day now (I am in CA and we just clicked over to Thursday) Here is what ALL PRODUCTS looks like (as you can see, it is not ALL PRODUCTS) (See if you tell me, then I can save you some moderator work) There has to be an easier way...but there is more than one way to skin a cat (who would want to do that?? - where did that saying come from) Aren't you proud of me? I hope your bugs are reported using J3's bug report feature. I am using a PC. Here is my sequence of events. 1. Start J3 2. SFX 1 plays fine. 3. SFX 2 play bar jmumps to middle and no sound. 4. SFX 1 stopped working. 5. MDE plays with sound. 6. SFX 1 works again. 7. SFX 2, still no happiness. _____________________________ Jim "It is fun doing the impossible" Quote from Walt Disney (in reply to Webb Pickersgill) |

Hi, Even I had a similar issue with vanishing tabs for SFX and JB-HD. I just ran the 258 installer again. And it works fine. Hope this helps. Regards, BTW: I am working on Mac. Also I did not re-install, just ran the installer(258) again. < Message edited by ILoveJuicer -- 4/5/2007 6:42:01 AM > (in reply to windhamjim) |

I am running a Mac PPC G5 Quad. OS10.4.9 I upgraded to J3–build 258 and all sFx libraries and JB-HDs are missing from my tree panel as well (when set to show all products). When "my products" is set in the tree panel, a glowing bar with no text shows for the sFx library I own (as shown in an attachment earlier in this thread). Sending this to show that this is not an isolated case. _____________________________ ~ Tim www.illustratedWORD.com (in reply to ILoveJuicer) |

I've got the same issue as laponism and webb pickersgill - I'm on a Mac...doing last minute SoundFX for Easter...but now I'm stuck. Please, Juice, hurry with the fix or there will be no resurrection (and not a very Good Friday either). (in reply to Webb Pickersgill) |
