Hey, a suggestion - It seems like we have a lot of hobbyists here, plus a lot of pros who still do home videos for fun. How about something like this product line (only with DJ quality), but fun stuff for "home movies" (or even if a pro project calls for a "home movie" look.) Does anyone else think this would be useful and something they'd purchase? http://customht.buffnet.net/ I would. _____________________________ Pops |

I would also like to see stuff like that... Things that could help make intro's to movies... You drop in your company name ...name of project... something like this http://www.videocopilot.net/riotgear.html I would like to see more grunge... seems like a lot of vector art is in tv comm and intros.... the scroll vine stuff that you did for the ETK Wedding 2 in green would be cool... Organic scroll that grows over time like the stuff they do for the food network.... and on a lot of cd music covers.... sure I think I could do it ...but me sitting down to do scroll work in Illustrator then transfer that over AE is time I dont want to waste..

I have learned sooo much in the past few days from his stuff...But would like DJ to do more stuff like his in keeping with the New Line of Animations that Wizard asked

quote: Confusion factor - I was suggesting something that didn't need AE or even tutorials. The whole idea was something straight forward, drag and drop, type a name or two and impress the inlaws. DJ does the high quality, hi-tech that they're known for, and we get all the credit. All that other stuff is too much work. ![]() ![]() ![]() I think you missed the whole point, Jay, but, don't worry, I won't give you negative points. Yes, DODOZ, that's what I was talking about, but of course with DJ quality. Just because it's for home videos doesn't mean it can't look professional and be easy to use.

No confusion wizard ... do not want DJ to produce stuff for AE or tutorials...ya missed my point... I would like them to do ETK's or jumpbacks with drag and drop....the stuff videocopilot had was cool and would be neat to drag into a project... DJ does do High quality hi tech stuff (not like hotcakes...ughh) just would like to see some grunge jumpbacks with some vector style art scroll work that grows as it goes in time... they can keep it clean and I can scruff it up...they have Juice Drops 48: grungeCUTS and I guess I could buy that and put it into AE but I think DJ could do a Better job at it.....I did not mean to highjack the thread.....

For apple people look at imovie, there are some GREAT drag and drop templates. I use them for quick videos of my kids and the quality is awesome. http://www.apple.com/ilife/imovie/features/themes.html _____________________________ mattjanowsky.com (in reply to JayBlood2001) |
