Hello Guys,

I have a video that it was captured at law size, if im not mistaking its at 640x480 (From what i remeber), Now I tried to make this to a DVD, I did some editing on Final Cut Pro, and Add some DigitalJuice Effects, and its great when I preview it on my MAC, but Once I convert to DVD, the movie gets crazy, The shaking is really bad and the quality is really low...  I also believe that the reason this is happening is because of my frames are low on the captured film, (not sure how to check it), its an AVI file....

Any suggestion on how to fix this, would be appricate it.

Thanks
DigitalGuard

How was it captured?  Via digital camera (not camcorder).  If so, it could have a framerate of 15-20 fps, which would cause it to look jerky.  640x480 is standard video (actually 720x480), so it could be possible that your settings for rendering the clip could have something to do with it.

I have one that may or may not work.  It means having photoshop and genuine fractals.  At the OnOne website there is a tutorial of how to convert regular video to HD.  I haven't tried it, but if you have the above mentioned tools it may help.

It's on this page:

http://www.ononesoftware.com/detail.php?prodLine_id=2&action=more

Under ProTip - Resizing Video with Genuine Fractals 5 there is a link to a pdf file.  It can be downloaded.

Hope this helps.

No it was not by Digital Camera, it was a camcorder, but it was not caputered at good quality.... It was captured with a really home user capture device... and also, it was caputered by someone that didn't know what they were doing, they caputred, in AVI for windows, then it was converted to MOV for mac... so now the original tapes are missing and I'm kind of stuck...

Thanks
