Hi Jim : I want use ETK background as my footage's background . Should I use 2D editor to decrease my footage?What is the correct procedure ? Can u tell me ? Regards Stephen fr H.K. |

If you want to make it larger or smaller, yes. Use the 2D editor. If you want to make the clip shorter or longer, you can use the linear time warp filter. Hi Jim : I use the 2D editior to decrease or using the crop tool there still have black border in my footage , how to make it become transparency I meant the border becomes transparent. So I can use the ETK background, something like picture in picture. Thanks Regards (in reply to windhamjim) |

Try this: Put your background on track Name 5. Put your picture on track Name 6. Use the 2D Editor crop tool on the picture on track Name 6. Remember to crop all sides of the picture. What are your image import settings? This information can be located by looking at the Control Panel. Once this effect is working, I can explain how you can use a matte track to create a pan and zoom effect for the picture. It looks way cool.
