Just kidding! Probably all of you who have been here for awhile know this but I just found a great secret! On Volume 49 Signboards - 4919 JD the first three layers have all the alphabet and icons hidden. You don't just have to have "LOVE" on that drop. I thought that was so cool and will continue to "turn off layers" to find out what other secrets might be there. Have a great evening, I have to go back to worknow after 2 weeks off! argh.....less juice time. cheers Jan < Message edited by David Slater -- 7/24/2007 5:28:18 PM > _____________________________ Addicted to JUICE! too much to name...Canon EOS 7D-L Glass - PSP4 - Adobe CS4 Master Collection and Photoshop CS5 |

I found that out a couple months ago and cut out the letters to use it as a font for a sign in a video. Surprises are awesome!

Yeah... there are lots of hidden surprises in Juice Drops. And there's really no way to know where they are unless you just stumble upon them. It's kinda neat finding them.

Perhaps we need a JuiceDrop Easter Egg thread for keeping a record of where all the treasure is hidden . Who knows, maybe there are a couple of GC codes or something like that buried somewhere in there Mark (in reply to DODOZ) |

OK, help out a newbie here. I found the letters on 4919 on layers1, 2, and 3 but how do you use them if you wanted to create a new sign? Do you have to cut each letter out individually and paste them into a copy of the original file? Sorry if this question is too elementary for you Photshop experts. _____________________________ Robert Peterson S4TJ Empowerment Ministries www.s4tjministries.com GO PHILLIES! (in reply to mikey) |

Yes, Robert, select the one you want, place it, then go get the next letter. It's not quite as convenient as a font, but they're much prettier than fonts usually are. :) deb _____________________________ SouthPoint Foursquare Church Fresno, CA BlogMe (in reply to PaladinPete) |

I was in such a hurry yesterday when I answered that. There are two ways you could move the letter to where you need it: 1. Use the rectangular selection and grab it, (CTRL C) then paste it in where you want (CTRL V) But sometimes when the other letters are too close, you get ... little buddy parts from the neighboring letter this way. So... 2. Use your magic wand set for a large enough tolerance to grab the letter to the very edge, just make sure contiguous is checked in the toolbar. Then CTRL C copy it, and CTRL V, paste it into a new layer to place. When I'm doing this kind of layout, I place a guide for the baseline of my letters, and snap to the guide. When they're all like I want them, I group them together so they'll move together. There are likely other ways to accomplish this, too - this is just my way. Any way that works for you is a good one! deb _____________________________ SouthPoint Foursquare Church Fresno, CA BlogMe (in reply to debc) |

I have started the spreadsheet and have five entries so far that have goodies, or someone has figured out something cool. I will email to anyone who wants it, just let me know. If you find something, share the wealth. I have started turning off all layers and starting from the bottom now. Find goodies way faster that way! Cheers everyone! Nan

Since this is a topic that I know most JuiceDrop owners would probably be interested in, maybe a mod could change the thread title to something more relevent and make it a sticky thread at the top of the "Print and Photoshop Products" forum Mark (in reply to mediatvguy) |

I think that the thred title change is not possible, since we would have to change titles on every post. I would suggest creating a separate thread for this topic. :) (in reply to CrunchieBite) |

Sounds like a great idea to me but, that is just my humble opinion and my $0.02 worth. The final say I guess goes to those with the "power" of the sticky lol Mark (in reply to mediatvguy) |

Hi Jan, Two points: 1. It was I who suggested making the post a sticky and changing the title to make it more reflective of what content it contained to help others who may come looking in this forum in the future. If this is not something that you are happy with then all I can do is pass on my apologies and humbly ask the mods to undo these changes. I did not mean to cause offence and I am sorry if I have done so. 2. Easter Eggs - Possibly down to me again. It doesn't have anything to do with the context of Easter but, in virtual realms, an "Easter Egg" is a hidden message or feature in an object such as a movie, book, CD, DVD, computer program, or video game. Nothing to do with the nice hollow chocolate things that you get to eat once a year - see here if you are interested in learning more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter_egg_(virtual). Again, I am sorry if I have caused any confusion or inconveinence. I will try and keep my suggestions under control in the future Mark < Message edited by CrunchieBite -- 7/21/2007 8:12:35 AM > (in reply to nannybear) |

No problem Mark, I overreacted. I was just looking for the post and couldn't find it. I don't have an issue with changing the title to what ever you think will make sense to everyone. my apologies for my idiocy! Cheers Jan

One thing I have noticed with quite a few of the Juice Drops is that if you expand the canvas sometimes there are things out of site in the standard 11 x 17. I've seen some JD's that extend 5 inches or so in either direction. One easy way to do this is to zoom out to about 25%. Then enlarge the canvas by 10 inches all around and see what shows up.

Just found one in JD#4500 - the door knocker defaults to a skull holding a knocker. Turning off layers 9,10,11 and 12 reveals a single ring knocker instead of a skull.

Found another one! JD 4733 has another letter to Santa on red paper behind the one on gold paper. And to show how versatile Juice Drops are, turn off all the layers on #4736 except the bottom 3 (in the Juicer, anyway) for a cool swirly green background that can be used any time. Speaking of that Juice Drop in particular, I notice lots of DJ names on that list, some naughty, some nice. _____________________________ Windows XP Media Center 2002 Pentium 4, 3GHz, 3GB RAM NVidia GeForce FX 5200 (256MB) Avid Media Composer 3, QT 7.5 After Effects CS4 (in reply to nannybear) |

Found 3 more for volume 63: 6300: 2 hidden layers at the bottom to turn the background blue instead of red. 6305: 7 hidden layers that comprise the balloon in layer 13. 6322: 9 hidden layers to complete all the numbers 0-9. These were discovered in the Juicer and may not be the same layer structure as the full PSD file. _____________________________ Windows XP Media Center 2002 Pentium 4, 3GHz, 3GB RAM NVidia GeForce FX 5200 (256MB) Avid Media Composer 3, QT 7.5 After Effects CS4 (in reply to nannybear) |
