I was able to catlogue my Digital Juice Editor's Toolkit 6, Jumpbacks HD 17, Corporate Staxx II, and Subtle Impact Staxx, but the Juicer would not let me install my SD Wedding Jumpbacks or SD Sports Jumpbacks even after the disc was put into the drive. How do I catalogue them?

You can manually install any product in the juice and preview it from the web.
In Juicer go to File >> Catalog Manager...
Then from the dropdown list on the left choose your product line (JumpBacks) and then click on the volumes that you need to install. Once they you have a product selected click the "Add" button. When you have added all your products click "Next"
Then you will have a window that shows all the products you have chosen to install. From here you can choose to run the previews from the local drive (and if you want to you can assign the Juice the folder that those previews are located in - that is done in the target path column) or choose to preview from the web. Click on install and you are done - it might ask you to insert the DVDs for authentication.

p.s. Welcome to the forums

I did all that but it won't load them up even after i put in the dvd for authentication. It asked me for authentication on the toolkit and the music and it installed when i put the dvds in but not with the jumpbacks.

Hmmmm, I am no expert on Juicer, but I am guessing that someone else will happen by this thread that can help you out. What version of juicer are you using? Can you access the DVDs through your file browser (to ensure that they DVDs are not damamged)?

That was going to be my question...what version are you using?  be sure that you have the latest version of J3 which I think is Version 3.03 Build 264i.

Some of the newer products will obviously not be supported within older builds.

A total guess here but, what version of the problematic Jumpbacks do you own??  In the release notes for Juicer 3, it says "Version 1 for all volumes Jump Backs is not supported."   I am wondering if you maybe have version 1 and that is why it isn't liking the disc when you try and install it.  You could always try the JBs in Juicer 2 and see if they install in that....that would at least prove that the disc is not bad.

Hi Joel,

When you put in the discs for the sports and the wedding Jump Backs, what are the disc names that appear in the explorer ? ( e.g. JB_V40_D1D etc)
This will help us know what version the Jump Backs volumes belong to.
As rightly pointed out by Mark, the Juicer 3 does not support version 1 of the Jump Backs.

Also, please try manually copying the preview files directly from the Juicer folder off the Jump Backs disc to your system. This will help isolate disc errors if any.

Another way to tell what version they are is to look at the packaging. In my experience, if they are in hard plastic DVD cases (like a DVD movie case) they are usually the old versions.

If you do have an older version, they work just fine in Juicer 2, or, you can upgrade them to the latest version for $5 per volume. Give our customer service team a call if you are interested.

Not all the Hard Plastic DVD cases are version 1. I have the first 20 JB's all in the Hard DVD cases and they work fine in J3.

come to think of it aren't V1 of the JB's on CD and V2 and newer are DVD?
I'm looking at a set of the orig JB's that are in big 3 ring binder with VHS preview tape and 5 discs.

I have the entire first 20 and they are all version 2 on DVD and all have loaded properly with every upgrade in J3.  I think you are correct in thinking that the V1's are all CD.

As far as I know, the versions 1,2 and 3 are all the DVD versions. We tend to just call the old ones CD versions. Version 1 of the JB DVDs had a few discs with image sequences. Version 2 was a few discs with QT and AVI format. Version 3 are the current single disc versions with only MOVs. Only the version 1 with sequences do not work in Juicer 3.

I just checked the discs here and these are JB vols. 1-8 large plastic cases with a VHS preview, and they are definitely cd's 603mb used on each cd
