The new version of Steinbergs DAW Nuendo is available: Nuendo 4. Beyond several detail improvements in the application it features a new automation system, the MediaBay database environment to manage the assets, new postpro editing features, advanced routing and side chaining and much more. I cannot find any info if the SFX Library is compatible with Steinberg's Mediabay. Are the keywords used by DJ's software also available in the BWF Description so that the mediabay can handle these files? (in reply to MikeM) |

To my knowledge the files do not include embedded metadata. There are database files for soundminer available, which include the metadata and allow the user to embed those data into the files by using SoundMiner: http://www.digitaljuice.com/community_forums/tm.asp?m=66912 I have all 4 SFX volumes and bought them quite early after release. I don't know whether there is or will be a new DVD revision with included metadata. _____________________________ Michael Lt. Cmdr.
