The other night I was watching a show called MonsterQuest on TLC. They had a really cool "monster eye" Swipe type graphic and lower third and it occured to me that a Paranormal disc would be a great product for DJ. The Halloween swipe is great but it pretty much can only be used for Halloween. There are several swipes and Jump Backs that could be used in a Paranormal program, but nothing specifically made for that genre. If you look at History Channel, TLC, Discovery and Travel Channel you will see a ton of programs on UFO's, Loch Nesse, Ghosts (TAPS) and bigfoot stuff. Seems a disc of this stuff may be popular? I was thinking of a swipe of nessie swimming by or something like the Ghost swipes in the Halloween disc. A couple of Monster or Sasquatch animations and technical UFO animations. Maybe some aliens and chupacabras and mothman things. UFO animations and graphics would probably do well. Perhaps a jumpback moving thru the corridors of a spaceship. Flying triangles and different creatures. Big footprints walking across the screen or a footprint tracking across a lower third. With shows like Legend Hunters, Monster quest , UFO files and TAPS, this might be a good disc to add to the lineup?? All of these shows use alot of lower thirds and swipes as well as backgrounds and graphics. Might make a nice Juice Drop too. Perhaps someone creative could come up with some really cool graphics and animations on the theme? Not just campy stuff, but serious graphics? Your thoughts? J. |

That would be one I'd buy as well (although it seems that just about anything DJ comes out with these days falls into that category).

Jay, great idea for another 3-some from DJ. And with some tweaking these paranormal images could be used in a lot of "normal" settings as well.

I'll jump on the bandwagon too, and say that I'd LOVE a collection of paranormal stuff. And as Elen points out, there would certainly be creative uses for the material beyond Halloween-type stuff. A UFO graphic could be used for "Out of this world deals!", or Bigfoot might help a merchant stage a "Big Hairy Deal" sale. Okay, those aren't great examples, but you get the idea. I hope something like this gets on Digital Juice's "to do" list!

I dunno David - Curling????? Talk about not normal.... A bunch of folks throwing a clay pot across the ice while others try to melt the ice by sweeping junk out of it's way! _____________________________ DJ Counts (Hundreds+) "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle My Juice: http://video.birdcat.com/djlist.txt (in reply to rbcyouthdude) |

a 500 pound granite pot slid across the ice could be quite normal - a bunch of people watching it ... now that would be a nice addition to a new sports JD, JB JBHD ! - also great in an ad = "smashing deals are curling all around you" or words to that effect.
